A friend (albeit, a dumb one) says that grapes are fattening and are bad for you. That is completely monkey poop. All fruits and veggies are good for you.

They're high in sugar, like all fruit. Its a great source of simple sugars however, just like an apple, or my favorite, a PBJ !

Our dieting society will tell you all simple sugar is bad for you, which is not true. Tell your friend to eat his four a day and he'll be fine. If he wants to avoid getting fat, go easier on the fried foods and potatoes

Only if you're trying to take them from a gorilla in the wild.

Yes grapes are good for you, I am growing some in my back yard, they are just now starting to get the simple sugar up.

But what about my addiction to nacho flavored cheezits and milk?

Lots of sugar but it's natural and not processed so go ahead and eat them. Good fiber too.

Oh, and Cody, your grapes will be fine if you stay away from those bikini underwear that you like so much.

I think grapes are only bad when deep-fried or possibly with powdered sugar.

But what about my addiction to nacho flavored cheezits and milk?

No...those are actually good for you. Good source of calcium.

I bet there's some parallel universe somewhere where grapes are carnivorous and run in enormous packs like army ants.

And I bet there's some other parallel universe where grapes have taken over and use humans as low-level slaves. It would be known as "Planet of the Grapes."

Rain Man

And on that planet, I'll bet there's a lot of racial tension between the green grapes and the purple grapes.

And at their Catholic churches, they drink wine at communion and it really is the blood of their god.

When are you getting to the part when Charleton Heston says "Damn dirty grapes"?

Remember, the best source for healthy castor oil is castor beans.
