White, Nickey spark player brawl during Titans' practice

CLARKSVILLE – A brawl broke out during Titans’ practice Thursday morning after running back LenDale White spit on safety Donnie Nickey.

Nickey and White collided at the end of a play, and after they were separated, Nickey accused White of spitting on him. Several other defensive players stood up for Nickey, claiming they witnessed the same thing.

Minutes later, at the end of a play near the sideline, White was knocked out of bounds by Nickey after an incomplete pass. White elbowed safety Vincent Fuller, and several other defensive players jumped in, including Nickey again.

Titans Coach Jeff Fisher sounded off to the players, and accused Nickey of a "cheap shot."

At the end of practice, Fisher called the entire team to the middle of the field, and among other things told the players to leave the incident on the field.

Nickey and White declined comment.

What exactly is that suppose to mean, I can name plenty of other schools with guys who've done far worse things than any of the USC players. They aren't the Hurricanes here.........

I think it's funny that the other guy is the one the coach accused of the cheap shot, yet White is the one getting ripped on......

Yea, weird that the coach would stick up for the guy they just gave a multi-million dollar signing bonus to instead of the career benchwarmer.

Did you miss the part about getting spit on? You can hardly blame the guy for going after him.

Perhaps we can blame this on Dead Rising? Maybe one of his teammates told LenDale the Gatorade he was drinking was actually specially-brewed Spitfire, and that Nickey had just joined the ranks of the undead?

Man I don't know who's more of a thug, this guy or Mr. I'm too good for tenth pick money even though that's where I was drafted Leinart. And don't even get me started on that asshole Reggie Bush.

Yes he broke college rules and accepted kickbacks and should have been stripped of his Heisman Award, but at least he got a boatload of money before he fades into the history of the greatest BUST picks.

Keyshawn isn't really a thug, he has an attitude and runs his mouth. I don't ever recall him being arrested or doing anything thuggish.
