After watching the rolling roster, I can only think DAMN!, that team really had a lot of very very talented football players on it. The defense reads like a pro-bowl roster, some very good offensive linemen, one helluva gutsy QB, a pretty darned good group of running backs, and a great place kicker.. WR was a little iffy, though.

I owned joe montana on the sega
beat the '86 bear 600 and someodd to nothing
found out a crossing pass aptern worked against the game's defens
and a sweep option screwed them up hard

joe boot leg to marcus, couldn't defend it not a pro thing

Man I loved that game. Of course my offense was very similar to the one they ran now. :) My favorite play was the flea flicker.

Ok, is it just me -

I had the original Techmo Bowl on Nintendo...

I faced an invisible team at the end to win it all...

I cant remember why? Was I just stupid... my game was messed up... did that happen to anyone else... I had to do a Hail Mary everytime and hope to hold them, they scored almost everytime... cause I couldnt see them...????
