Good god could today be any worse? My buddy got a DUI last night. I got called into work early on the season opener. Both my kids are covered in poison Ivy. The Chiefs look like shit, and Trent Green was nearly killed on the field by a cheap shot.

It's been a fantastic day so far.

It wasn't Trent's fault he got hurt it was cheap shot yet you want to blame it on anything but

It's not his fault he got hurt.....I never tried to imply that, If I did it wasn't what I was meaning. He got hurt because our line sucks and our recievers can't get open.....

Look on the bright side...I'm thinking about how cheap season tickets are going to be next year!

Bright side: D looked ok; twenty points to cincy, considering the three turnovers we gave them was a marked imrovement from what would have happened last year. Other than the two fumbles, huard handled himself better than I would have thought.

Anyone think we should get us another KR specialist?

Dante sure doesn't seem like the answer anymore. That's one of the reasons I would have liked to see us keep Quinten Griffen. The guy could do a decent job on returns.

first fieldgoal 'Is that Herm being conservative?'

No, miscommunication on the call, we ended up kicking a fieldgoal. Let's leave it at that.

Bob Dole

Herm just claimed the run that resulted in the first FG was miscommunication.

Miscommunication? WTF?

What have Herm and Solari been doing all pre-season? Avoiding each other in the hallways?

I must have missed it. What did Chad Johnson's celebration look like?

approximate stats FWIW:

Palmer - 127 yards passing
Chiefs - 230 yards passing

Chiefs QB's>Palmer

Bungls 116 yds rushing
Chiefs 113 yds rushing

Chiefs = Bungles

I still feel like caca though!

Ummmm, you forgot the most important stat:

Bengals - 23 points
Chefs - 10

So long suckers!

BTW, I'd like to pass a motion that Laz not be allowed to start any more game day threads.

I also think it would be best to stick to the rule that no "official" gameday threads started before the actual day of the game be recognized.

Will this make tickets to the AZ game cheaper...hope...hope. I was planning to go, but wow $100 some for upper level endzone. I guess a new stadium does that.

Nice of you to join us. It must be a major effort to type with Geathers' cock up your ass.

Well, at least the Cowboys are playing decent. I sure wished the Chiefs organization had the same desire to win that the Cowboys do. Lamar/Carl seem content with selling out the stadium, Jones wants to win.

Herm's first game as Chief HC was against Cinny
let this one be his last

wouldnt that be ironic eh?

he coaches his first game as chiefs HC against the bungs and his last
as chiefs HC against the bungs.

Now, shall he lose tomorrow that would really define his legacy. he came in as a loser and goes out as a loser.
