WTF??!! Icing Babies? so, so WRONG!

Fist off, let me say that I love my mom dearly. But she lives in a small town in Ohio where all the ladies do crap like scrapbook, and make vests with quilted designs on them and wear them, and bake weird cakes for everyone's birthday and crap like that.

She's always forwarding me emails from her circle of friends, those kinds with titles like "angel kisses/God bless you/God bless our troops/hug around the world/pass this on to ten people and have good luck, etc. etc.

Today she crossed the line by forwarding me an email with photos of "Icing Babies." Apparently these are cake toppers made from marzipan, a type of sculptable almond frosting.
I guess you'd put them on "It's a boy/girl" cakes?

But, excuse me, DON'T THEY LOOK LIKE AN ABORTED FETUS?

Like I want to eat something with this thing that looks like it should be in a jar of formaldehyde, NOT ON A CAKE!!!

I guess you could get one for an abortion party?

I saw those a couple of years ago on the net...they really do look like fetuses.
But they are incredible works of art too in marzipan or anything else.
