Sure, but when I read it (my wife showed it to me awhile ago) it smacked of being "over done". Like there was a time when as a whole society, women were enslaved by their husbands...lookit, my mom and dad would just about fit this timeframe, and while I think my mom had alot of respect for my dad and did take care of him, it was not to this extreme. My point was that the picture and the article were fake, but I'm sure there were things along this line.

Nowadays, the pendulum has swung waaay to far the other way. Men are being feminized like crazy.

That's not far from the reality of 1955. Of couse, none of my friends moms worked outside the home. 1955 was wonderful. We got air conditioning that year.
