Been scouring some other sites in preperation for my FF draft and have come across a couple of stories.

1. Eagles Send Simoneau to Saints for Stallworth (http://philadelphia.comcastsportsnet.com/view_content_0p.asp?ID=36002)

The Eagles wide receiving corps just got more crowded.

On Monday the Eagles acquired receiver Donte’ Stallworth from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for linebacker Mark Simoneau and a future draft pick.

Stallworth, a fifth-year veteran, is coming off a career year. He had 70 receptions for 945 yards last season – both career highs – and seven touchdowns. Taken 13th overall by the Saints in 2002, the 25-year-old Stallworth had 195 receptions for 2,791 yards and 23 touchdowns in his first four seasons.

2.Deion Branch

Quote from another site

Just got word. He is being traded to San Fran, for OL- Justin Smiley and a future draft pick to be named later. Adios Deion ! what a fool, pussies around all offseason, to be traded away from a Super Bowl team....to the worst team in the league.

Have yet to find any kind of a link as of yet.

Please add any and all updates you may find.

Report: Titans reach agreement in principle with Kerry Collins (http://www.theredzone.org/news/showarticle.asp?ArticleID=4251)

The Nashville Tennessean reported that Collins could sign the team as early as Monday, provided he passes the team physical.

Collins most recently served as the starting quarterback for the Raiders, but has also played with Carolina, New Orleans, and the New York Giants.

In his career, Collins has thrown for 33,637 yards, 173 touchdowns and 166 interceptions.

Collins would have come dirt cheap and it's hard to argue he could suck worse than Huard as the no 2...

Also, Greg Jones (RB/FB, Jax) is out for the season with a torn ACL.

What's even worse is that he got hurt late in the 3rd quarter, long after he should have been taken out in a preseason game. Del Rio kept all of the offensive starters in for a full 3 quarters last weekend.

Walters was having a shoulder issue, must have been a bit worse than they were comfortable with. Still damn funny though!

A 4th round pick and a backup MLB for Stallworth.

That's pretty cheap. I wish we would have gone after him.

I would have thought that by trading away Stallworth the Saints would open up their wallet for Branch???

The News
Running back Domanick Davis is on the hot seat in Houston as cuts come up on Saturday. Coach Gary Kubiak told the AP that he was "very concerned" about Davis, and that, "I know it's been very frustrating for him. All we can do is be there for him. I'm more concerned about him right now and doing what's right for him." Davis has been sidelined since the second day of camp because of a bone bruise that was affecting his knee.

Our View
This decision would be much easier for the Texans if their replacement option was a fellow named Reggie Bush, but they passed up on him and now may be going with Wali Lundy as their starter. Lundy is a rookie sixth-round draft pick out of Virginia, and has been impressive so far in preseason.

Branch won't get traded to the 49ers, they're cheap and they can get more than an eh Guard and a conditional pick.

If Dom Davis is cut the Chiefs should probably look at that he was a good special teams player in college and you can never have to many good players.

I just heard that the Colts are in the process of signing Jonathan Wells from Houston.

Could be an interesting pickup if it happens.
