Obviously this is far premature, but I'm interested in what people think the realistic spread will be against the Bengals.

Im thinking after tonites performance by the Bungals that they will definitely be favored by at least 5pts. I predict KC by 10.

But I do think Palmer's performance will move the line. Maybe from 3.5-4 to 2.5-3.

Right now, the line is down at my sportsbook.

Ceasar's and several other casinos currently have the Chiefs favored by 4.

That actually suprises me.
Of course, I am not an expert in these things, but after the way the Chiefs have looked, and the way Cincy has looked, I just assumed it would be the other way.

ROFL these point spreads are funny. We will win by at least 20 points. We are going to be teeing off on Palmer-I really doubt he finishes the game.

Its HOME OPENER, Chiefs 38 Bungholes 10 You can bet the freakin farm on that!!

I want some of what you're on.

First off, their D sucks and will never be able to stop LJ. Trent should be able to pass at will against them. Gun will be blitzing Palmer from every direction, the crowd will be loud and rabid.

Like I said, it will just be a continuation of last years assbeating.

I only gave them 10 points-a long FG and one lucky pass because Greg Wesley will be in a crack daze and miss a receiver running free across the middle.

LJ=3 TD's 215 yards rushing and 68 receiving.

Hali=will get his first NFL sack and forced fumble.

Trent-2 TD's 320 passing yards.

Chiefs D holds the Bungholes to 48 rushing yards.

No kidding.

Not like we have to go back very far to find the last Home Opener loss:

*cough*...Carolina...*cough*

IIRC, the home team gets 2.5-3 just for being the home team.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the number drop to 2.5-3 by kickoff........

Panthers were on the juice-just like the Donks are every year.

I would bet $1000 bucks we win by more than 2.5 points. The Bungholes suck and there will be no place for Palmer to hide-he is meat on a hook.

After the way Palmer played last night, I could see the line moving about a point in the next week or so.

But I don't see it dropping below Chiefs -3 unless there's an injury (knock on wood).

I don't really see the Chiefs stopping them either....yes their defense is bad but their offense is damn good.

The sheer decibels coming from the Arrowhead crowd will rip Palmer's ligaments apart again.

I'm expecting a repeat of the no-punt game.

They'll punt at least once. :D

The sheer decibels coming from the Arrowhead crowd will rip Palmer's ligaments apart again. They aren't even Palmer's ligaments. The ligaments belong to some dead woman, Palmer is just borrowing them until Bennie Sapp snaps them in the second qtr.
