There's no explanation needed.

It speaks for itself.

7 million a year and a first or second round
draft choice doesn't buy that much

The guy hasn't had one 1,000 yard season yet. He was just a few yards short last year and, IMO, he is not worth a 1st or a 2nd round draft choice.

He's worth a 2nd.......he doesn't have huge stats due to the way the Pats spread everything around. 2 yards short of 1000 isn't much to point out, it's not like he's putting up 500 yard years. Let's also discuss how he performs huge in big games. Last year against Denver in the playoffs, huge game. Superbowl against the Eagles, giant game. He's been on the biggest stage and been a huge player there. Branch is a better player than what his stats show.

If you're serious I feel for you. Freddie Mitchell was an underachiever his entire career. Never had big games never did much of anything of note. That is probably the worst comparison ever. Mitchell had 1 catch, 1 play. Branch has put up tremendous games on a huge stage, not to mention he's consistent something Mitchell isn't.

I would give them Junior and a 5th rounder-and that is it.

Nice points-okay I will give them Junior and a 3rd.

He's worth a 2nd because of his age he's entering his prime, if he was 30 then he'd be worth a 3rd.

I think Branch would fit in nicely-except that it would piss EK off. I hope they don't give up anything past a 4th.

Branch will be a Patriot this year. No need to even wonder where he will end up.

I DONT WANT A MIDGET WR WHO IS A PRODUCT OF A SYSTEM, notre dame is a great example of this system, the ND WR's sucked until weis' system came to town as well as brady quinn, im a notre dame fan so ive been watching the WR's they have for a few years, and its definately the system more than the player

To compare, the Packers got a 2nd round pick for Javon Walker.

Deion Branch is not in the same category as Walker. Not even close.

He might be worth a 3rd. But I question if he's worth 7 mil per year.
