Congrats to Iowanian who beat out 19 other entrants (and 5 of his own runner's up) to win the packet of instant Miso Soup (spicy version) and fast-food chopsticks with the winnig haiku:



Stadium Vibrates
Hickory Fog Permiates
The home of the Chieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefs.

Good thing it wasn't a spelling contest.
Some good entries, everyone. Some good negative ones, too, but in honor of the network sensors and political spin doctors I felt obliged ot give it to the Homer Haiku. Plus, it has a nature reference (fog) which is one element of haiku. That, and butthole references.

What an unexpected honor. I'd like to thank mother, for scolding me in Haiku as a child,
and my dad for taking me to all those early morning
Limerick classes.

Please save the postage, as an act of humanity, give the bag of soup to the next person you see holding a sign, begging for food money or claiming hunger.

A girl at my work emailed me after finding out I'm a Ciefs fan.
She's from KC and a huge Chiefs fan. She emailed me the pic as the season got near. Not sure if she took it or what.
Check your p-mail. It's the only resolution I have.
