at the NBL BMX Grand Nationals in the 17 and Over Rookie class!!! We had 33 guys in our class from all over the country. Not bad for someone just 1 1/2 months into BMX and hasn't been on a 20" bike in over 22 years!!! I'm moving up to the 35 & Over Novice class now.
My son made it through his motos, the quarters, only to get beat out in the semis in the 5 & Under Rookie class. Great showing for him, he was up against 35 of the best 5 year olds out there and he beat over half of them.
My daughter didn't transfer out of her motos, but she was competitive out there racing against the 8 year old boys. After this she is moving to stricltly the Girls class(the girls in this sport KICK ASS!!!)
a photo I took on Saturday from a lift...

Waiting for vintage BMX equipment to become a money-maker, and pull my Mongoose Greg Hill Pro Edition with the Redline 401 Flight Cranks and Araya Z-Rims out of storage.

wait no longer!!!
That vintage stuff is huge now. As us kids from the 80's hit that midlife crisis :) we need something to latch onto.

Here's My Frame (http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-OLD-SCHOOL-MONGOOSE-MOTOMAG-BMX-FRAME-AND-FORK_W0QQitemZ300023946191QQihZ020QQcategoryZ64644QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
The venerable Motomag, except it was chrome, and made of 4130, one of first to use it, and has Eddie Hill's signature on the, I believe, bottom tube.
Reminds me, I also have a pair of original motomags that came with the original bike. But I pulled those fast as they were aluminum and heavy as hell.
