Arthur Bryants, Gates, Jack Stack, Zarda, Oklahoma Joes are all very good BBQ choices.

Look them up on Yahoo if you want directions.

Plenty of good choices man, there will be more posts about this subject from others...

Edit - oh yeah, Jack Stack would be called nice. The others...not so much, but the food is tasty. maybe stop by one of those when its not your anniversary.

while those are good bbq places, they aren't somewhere i'd go for my 10th anniversary. Try Ruth's Chris or Plaza III

Nothing says I love you better than taking the wife out to McDonalds for your 10th anniversary.

If you want BBQ, and you want nice, your only real option is Jack Stack IMO. But I certainly wouldn't consider it "upscale" or anything.

If you're not looking for BBQ, but for a steak, any place on the Plaza would be good. As mentioned previously, Capital Grille, Plaza III, Ruth's Cris.

I personally love Skies even though the food isn't the best in town. The view is just awesome. Get reservations.

Hey, I had my wedding at Oklahoma Joe's! The reception was held at the liquor store next door.

And since it's the 10th anniversary, I would recommend supersizing.

Is there a Morton's Steakhouse there? Morton's is good for this type of thing.

McCormick & Schmicks - I know it's a seafood place but they have one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Oh you could do our favorite place to grab anniversary grub. Outback steakhouse...

Anniversary comes knockin... we load up on the all you can eat buffet. Highest bill we've racked up between the 2 of us on Anniversary buffet... $85.

Jack Stack is a really nice restaurant that has great BBQ and a much better atmosphere than other good BBQ places in K.C.
