I didn't even care about football, the season, anything at that point. All secondary to the well being of that guy who left it all on the field for us.

Trent has been giving it up for us fans for years. This time it has the potential to be life changing. As a Chiefs fan I would I would like to see him under center again, as a Trent Green fan, depending on the prognosis, I would hope he hangs it up before he gets killed.
He could start out by taking Shannon Sharpe's job in the studio, then take Randy Cross's spot in the booth. :clap:

This really sucks. I don't see how you come back from taking a shot like that. Trent was all heart on that drive. At one point we were 2nd and 10 and Trent scrambles for two straight 5 yard gains. I keep thinking that if he hadn't gotten hit like that on that drive we may have come back and one the game. It was definately starting to feel like the momentum was going our way on that drive up until that point.
