I noticed on FoxSports.com they credited him with a whopping two tackles, which I guess is an improvement over last year. Did Fox play at all?

Honestly, he wasn't around the football very much at all. Odd, eh?

I couldn't even tell that Bell was in the game.

The only linebackers that made plays were DJ and Kawika.

Kawika played very well. Didn't notice much from DJ...

Saw Bell make a tackle on Chad Johnson, which was shocking.

Kawika was real close to stopping Rudi's TD run 3 yards in the backfield but the guard made a good block at the last second.

The D overall wasnt bad. They were hampered by bad field position and turnovers. Run defense did break down several times though.

if knight lost playing time to page, surely HERM will do the same with bell, its a more obvious substitution one would think

I like DJ, and I know everyone here has a huge mancrush on the guy...but he wasn't anything extraordinary today. Kawika's presence is much larger. I think DJ will turn into a Derrick Brooks esque player, but didn't see it today...and I thought the D played well, minus Knight. Even Sims was making plays.

DJ had 6 tackles, 2 assisted...

Allen had 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF...he's a stud.

No DJ made some very big plays today, so it was odd that you didn't see anything from him.
