4.5 yards per attempt ain't shabby. We just didn't runt the ball enough. Solari was effective with the passing game early, and never realized it had stopped working. Parker with two PI sandwiching a tipped ball inteception sure didn't help the offensive momentum either.

Looking again LJ only averaged 4.0, which is far below what it needs to be for us to be successful. Still I think we had to keep running; passing too much on 1st down was putting us in too many 2nd and 10+ situations.

It was a crappy game all around, no doubt, but most of our problems are relatively minor. As cdcox mentioned, elminate the PI penalties and get the play calling on track and we would have played a pretty decent game.

The issue at RT is another story.
