With the Chiefs loss today, it's easy to lose sight of priorities.... Remember what's really important...

Say a prayer for the families and victims of 9/11

I have a theory that GM was behind the whole thing. They wanted to instill a sense of patriotism into Americans so we would only buy American cars.

Curb the trend of us buying Middle Eastern cars. Good plan.

Sadly, the average American has the attention span of a 6 year old with ADD who's been drinking Jolt cola laced with crack all day. The only way to communicate with them is through the idiot box.

I was hungover that morning......at my friends house. Our other friend came running in at like 9 AM and was like OMG OMG wake you gotta see this.....and we both looked at him and went "STFU" and went back to sleep.

**** 9/11, that was like 3 years ago.

The Chiefs loss was today, and it was much more ugly or brutal than anything I saw on 9/11.

Shove that country music up your ass.

If you lived to be a thousand, could 9/11 ever become less astounding? It's hard to think so. Watching the footage, and reading the stories, and listening to the impact of this event, it's only increasing my sensitivity towards that day that has shaped this young century in America, and really, all over the world.

There will be a Chiefs game next week, and I'm grateful that we live in a country that can look forward to something so simple as watching football on Sundays.

Say what you want to be cute and funny by making light of September 11. I guess you do, afterall, have that freedom. I don't think it's funny though. I don't think most people do.

Seriously the lameness of REMEMBER 9/11 !!! THE CHIEFS LOSS ISNT SO BAD NOW REMEMBER WHATS REALLY IMPORTANT

I mean, god, there's so many things that are lame about that. It's just hokey and dumb and yeah everyone knows what's really important and no one actually forgot about the terrible events of 7/11 so uh yeah, STFU.

It's almost worse than "PRAYER REQUEST- TRENT GREEN", yeah I'm praying he gets back or else I'm going to have to post "PRAYER REQUEST - NFL SUNDAY TICKET REFUND" bc the games just won't be worth watching.

skye, you are lame. You're not the first person who's posted something like this, and you won't be the last, and you probably won't understand that some people do wish to remember this day as something more important than other days, even if the Chiefs lose, and you probably won't understand that if you want to vent on how the Chiefs lost, you can on all the other threads that are about it. But I think you should understand it, or I think you, should f*ck off.

REMEMBER 9/11 is a retarded thing to mention on a football message board.

You are on an intellectual level with this guy. This may be recxjake, at least thats what I imagine he looks like.

No, it's not, and it's not retarded for CBS to show a documentary about 9/11 tonight, either, or the front page of the newspaper to write an article about it. You've been here for three years, by now you should have caught on to all the non-football threads.

I guess you're right.

Because, had recxjake not mentioned it, I'm sure we would have all forgotten about 9/11 and continued to think that this Chiefs loss was among the most important things in the world.

I forgot my family and country and Jesus count. I was just so focused on the Chiefs.

Thanks for bringing a little perspective back into my life, recxjake. You're really smart, you know that? Probably the smartest internet guy I ever met that failed out of community college.

You are just trying to get a rise of people by talking shit to offend people on a messageboard where you can't be seen.

If you really believe all the shit that you talk, while don't you leave your mom's basement and show up to a Chiefs game spouting this shit and see how long you last.

....are you retarded or just plain disrespectful? There's a thing called decency that you might want to check into. We understand you don't give a shit about 9-11 and that's cool you have a right to your opinion but honestly man your comments are a bit over the line. There are people who exercise their freedom of speech and then there are people who take advantage of it to be different and to be an attention whore. To sit there and say that the Chief's loss was more gruesome than anything you saw on 9-11 then you obviously must think 9-11 is a 7-11 or are not thinking at all.... I'll bank on either or. You are the type of person that everyone wishes would stop posting on this forum cause you think you're making a statement and entertaining yourself when really everyone is laughing at you and wishing your mother was more serious when she was considering abortion cause obviously the drugs she was experimenting with didn't get the job done.... well in a sense. Have sympathy for other's feelings and learn to keep your huge gaping mouth shut. Your sarcasm and opinion are not welcome here let alone the rest of the world.

next time please use sentences and paragraphs

I believe I did my friend. You see the things that look like this ..... those five objects that resemble dots are called periods and they are intended to divide many words into more exact phrases called sentences. I guess I could've divided it up into two paragraphs but why bother being formal with an individual such as yourself? The idea is simple enough to get across anyways. I'm sorry if throwing hyphens and question marks in there was too much for you.

Nice try to turn it around on me by the way. Next time you should go to the Orange Mane, you could pass for quite an intellectual over there. Btw.... who are you? I meant to ask that earlier but I was still staggering from your superior wit. *Insert sarcasm where you feel the need to*
