IM of the belief that you put your best athletes in the position where they can most help your team.

I guess it can't be any worse. Although, constant shifting won't allow the line to become a cohesive. Shields probably doesn't have the foot speed for it. And, if 285 pound men are pushing Black around, what makes you think he can block 340 pound men?

Let Turley put some weight on and give them time to gel. If they come out as bad as they were in week one, shoot Black. I mean cut black, yeah cut that's what I meant.

Moving Turley and Black, I can see; Shields would probably be okay out there--but does he really want to do it....and I'm not sure Svitek is ready to step in for LT. JMHO

The O-line has become a huge concern, the root of the offense problems, IMO. Which also has a huge impact on the defense as they wear themselves out staying on the field so much.

That needs to be fixed so LJ can do his thing and whatever QB we have in there can survive and live a long fruitful life.

To me it seems like the majority of the problems on offense start with the O-line and their inability to protect the QB and open up running lanes better.

I'm pretty nervous about any QB we have in there right now.

Maybe it was just first game of the season jitters or rust or something.

FWIW Black wasn't the whole problem out there Sunday. I don't think Superman on steroids could stay healthy behind our line this year. (and Sampson's return isn't going to help much IMO)

the OL is not what it was true..thats when you have to have game day coaching..you have to adapt to what the def. is giving you..if you need 2 TEs then use 2 TEs..F*CK the game plan go with what works that day.....

Move Turley to RT he will be better there any way. Then put Svitek at LT as the starter, it can't be any worse and then we will know weather he can grow into the position or if we need a replacement next year. As far as I'm concerned this season is over lets play the young guys and see what we have or what we need. Svitek blocking for Croyle could be the future could not, I don't know but hell lets find out.
