View Full Version : Why did we get Gardner?

Is he just a good player that was available who could be developed for future seasons? Or maybe someone whom other teams would find attractive for a trade? Or is there really a major concern for our receiving crew? I'm pretty at ease with our current wideout roster. Could Samie be on the verge of losing his gig with Sunday's penalties and tipped interception?

If you are a Chiefs fan why do you have a Bronocs helmet?

He's more of a posession type guy which we don't have. The Gardner from 2 or 3 years ago certainly would be an upgrade for us. No risk about it though, seeing if he can return to form.

Yeah, I dont doubt that his IS a Chiefs fan, just wondering about the helmet.

Read the line under his name, then look at the picture.

It tells you the next opponent and where and when to see the game.

Our receviers suck.

Yeah, we "got by" with them the last few years. And that was always my reasoning for defending them. But it won't cut it any more. We won't have half a century to drop back and wait for the scrubs to get open.

Parker stinks, he wouldn't be a top 3 WR on a lot of teams. Webb's unproven. Hall stinks.

Dante is not a bad slot receiver

He's a hell of a lot bigger than any of our current receivers, if you follow Whitlock's logic then he's here because Parker and Hall are too f**king small to block in the running game.

AWESOME thanks!

Nice job. I figured there was reason for it.

Dante is the Bronco Killer! Always has been...

Never will forget the play he juked all the broncos out of there jocks and headed for the endzone.

Ah the good ole days.

To bad this year/coach reminds me of Martys last year. Wouldnt be surprised if we dont have another "Monday Night Meltdown" game soon.

Because WR is still huge need. Gardner has good size, decent speed, and is still young enough to turn his career around.

It never hurts to take a flyer on former 1st rd picks that aren't headcases.
