He is ass-raping Maryland on ESPN. 21-0 Mountaineers. So far Slaton's got 7 carries for 147 yards and 2 TDs. And there's a minute left in the first quarter.

Slaton looks like my RBs on NCAA 06 on easy mode. He is insane-crazy-good.

I was just gonna post a thread on this, but I didn't. He's fast as hell. Needs to hold on the ball a little better though.

They need to find a ref who knows how to speak in public. This guy looks frightened whenever he has to announce a penalty.

I got West Va. (-20) tonight. Kinda wish they could have spread this out over four quarters instead of piling it on all in the first.

Keep giving Slaton the rock.

Maryland needs to just devote 3 defenders to Slaton.

That's what happens when you go to the can and stay logged in around people who are not to be trusted.

At least, I assume that's what happened. I guess you never know.

Too bad they only have one real game on their schedule in Louisville.

I haven't seen this guy play yet but he is playing against ................Maryland? Let's give it awhile. He's got to overcome OU's Adrian Peterson to be the "best back in the country". Peterson is a very good back in the LJ mold. He is as fast and elusive as LJ but at 215 lbs. He isn't the bull LJ is yet. But he is just a junior who probably will declare for the draft next year. If he hits the weights and gets to 230, LOOK OUT!!!!!!!!

Yes, because Peterson has to face all those elite defenses in the Big 12, right?

Slaton ran for over 200 in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia last season. He does what he does to every team. He's more than arrived. Some of you guys are just late to the party. :p

Slaton is awesome and a ton of fun to watch but there are a handful of great backs out there and tough to say who is better cause they all play in different systems which can dramatically impact how they look and the numbers they put up. Peterson is excellent, Irons is impressive...Sutton at Northwestern is pretty darn good. That Wolfe kid from Northern Illinois looked great against OSU. To do that against them playing behind vastly inferior Olineman is something that darn few could do. That Ian Johnson from Boise State was amazing in his last game against Oregon State. That was the most impressive running I have seen this year so far.

I personally like Slaton, Marshawn Lynch, Michael Bush, Jamaal Charles, and Kenny Irons a lot.

Jon Cornish is another guy I'm keeping an eye on...Plays on a bad team but looks like a really good back. I'm guessing many of the Jayhawk fans on the board know a lot about him.

Kenneth Darby is a kid that gets a lot of press but I haven't been too impressed with him. Only watched him 3 or 4 times so that may not be a good sample but he seems to by more media hype than product.

It's a damn shame Bush broke his leg...I was sick to my stomach watching that game and seeing that happen.

Jon Cornish is another guy I'm keeping an eye on...

Cornish is a gamer. He really dedicated himself these last two years and it shows. He's a bit quiet but he's got the "Don't believe I can do it? I'll prove you wrong" attitude. He runs with more force than a guy his size usually does too.
