Kansas City.com] Considering Herm Edwards’ luck with quarterbacks, this is probably worth passing along: If the Chiefs get down to the third quarterback on Sunday, their emergency pick will probably be running back Dee Brown.
Brown began as a quarterback at Syracuse but switched to running back because of a guy named Donovan McNabb. Edwards said there was no immediate plan to take rookie Casey Printers off the practice squad and make him the third quarterback.

Damon Huard will get the start, and rookie Brodie Croyle will be his backup. Edwards lost four quarterbacks to injury last year in New York

Same as when Marcus Allen was here, he was third string a couple times when Joe got hurt.

But I'll say it again, We could run the option.

Is this why he was picked in the first round of so many fantasy football drafts? If you picked him in the first round, I gotta give you props for one helluva sleeper pick!

With the speed of the DE's, LB's and Safeties in the NFL the option would get destroyed....

Just dont work agianst really good speed....

If Jordan Black sees a lot of time at RT on Sunday, then this is a real possibility.

Cripes, we could see Kendall Gammon at QB ...

Why hasn't our resident Dee Brown expert, Stumpy, contributed to this thread yet? Bet he has some inside info on this mofo.

If Jordan Sack's in the game, I'd certainly rather have Brown back there than Croyle.

But I'll say it again, We could run the option. The spread formation option that WV runs. Have Dbrown and LJ in the back field in shotgun formation.

You could direct snap to LJ, or to the QB, and him fake or hand it to the RB on a draw.

Lots of options with that.

We are going to have to be creative now that we don't have a legitimate QB.

Dee Brown was arrested a couple of days ago here in Wichita. Him and some of his Wranglers buddies wouldnt leave a bar downtown after a playoff win.
