The only reason you don't like it is that you're not one of the cool kids! :p

In all seriousness, though, I like the rep system. When I click on a thread that is started by someone bleeding red, I know that others have found that person to be lacking. It's also often a troll alert if someone's completely red. Often times, I'll just ignore the thread entirely. On the other hand, I tend to trust the opinions of long-time "icons" a bit more than others. It's not a perfect system, but it's nice in some ways.

Nah not really.....got enough for that one. I keep getting PM's and rep from people and the thread was only like a few pages. I got a comment from someone last week from another thread I commented in last January and I still don't recall writing it. Even after I read the damn thing like 3 times. :rolleyes: :)

Haha...your post made me look around online to see what the common opinion is about the difference between the two. I ran across this post in a newsgroup, which I couldn't help but post here:

"Slut has become a pejorative, used by people who really mean "I resent you for having more sex than I do." Then there's the ultimate "whore," which means a slut who's good enough to command a fee. This should be a source of pride, as it is in law, medicine, and other professions where one's prestige is measured by how much one can charge."

In that sense, I was actually complementing you!
