Well, I had to re-record this off my digital box onto the computer. The quality isn't quite as great when I have to do it that way, but it's still pretty good.

I don't think the seeders/peers/completed are showing up correctly on the web page still but they should in your torrent client.

raptorrage: must be a problem on your end. make sure you open all your ports for both TCP and UDP.

I've got no seeds and two peers (neither of which have any data) after 10 minutes. Not a huge deal - I'll just leave it running with my other torrents. I'm not sure why it's not working, though.

I get am getting 2 peers but no seed, so I am not getting to D/L. Tracker status says invalid URL

DRU
10-01-2006, 10:47 PM
I'm the only seed right now and i'm uploading at 60kB/s right now. Probably just take a minute for it to reach everybody and get you connected to some peers.

2(3) peers, (0)(0) seeds, no d/l.

Had it on all night as still no DL thoughts still says Tracker status says invalid URL. I see 4(5) peers but no seeds. any thoughts?

DaFace

I've never seen this happen before, but this torrent appears to be incompatible with all clients except Azureus. I also left mine going all night using uTorrent and got NOTHING. This morning, I've tried BitComet and the original BitTorrent client and still got nothing except peers with nothing downloaded. I downloaded and installed Azureus and it worked fine.

DRU - any ideas?

DRU

Hmmm...nope. I'll have to check into that.

I think the problem lies with PeerExchange. Azureus, BitComet, BitLord and BitSpirit have peerexchange. µTorrent, Mainline, BitTornado, ABC, TorrentStorm, TorrentFlux (which is just a frontend for Mainline or BitTornado) and several others do NOT.

From what I can tell, we're not getting ANY real tracker info at all. Are you using an actual tracker for this, or is the entire torrent being supported through PeerExchange?

DRU
10-02-2006, 08:11 AM
Something is wrong, I'm sure. The RSS feed isn't updating like it's suppose to either. I've been in the Azureus support IRC channel and Forums and nobody can give me an answer. I've completely removed it and re-installed and it didn't fix the problem. Doing it all the way same way I have for the past 3 years and I've never had the issue. I'll figure it out eventually.

As a temporary solution, I'm seeding the torrent through PirateBay. Unfortunately, there won't be any cross-exchange of information, but this should work for those having trouble with other clients.

(link removed - use DRU's)

DRU

I added that tracker to the torrent so it should be able to work using my link as well at this point.

DaFace
10-02-2006, 09:58 AM
Cool. I'm seeding on your link through uTorrent now. :)

DRU
10-02-2006, 11:34 AM
Ok, I was having some issues with my tracker that have now been resolved, however, I had to remove the current shares and re-share them. If your download stopped you'll need to re-download the torrent file and point it to the same directly where you already started downloading. It should be able to resume and pickup from there without any problems.

DaFace
10-02-2006, 11:40 AM
Awesome. Fixed the full-game torrent, as well. What was the problem?

DRU
10-02-2006, 11:44 AM
There's a drop down setting in the Azureus options for sharing that was set to Decentralized instead of HTTP. No idea how that got set that way cuz I didn't even know it existed. But, it's fixed now.

As such, the current torrents may act a little funny. The seeders/peers/completed are updating now, but they're not accurate because some people are still on the old torrent. If you are on the old torrent I would suggest you go ahead and stop it, download the new torrent and save to the same location so it will resume from that point and be on the new torrent.

DRU
10-02-2006, 12:03 PM
If those of you that were seeding this could please re-start your seed with the new torrent that'd be great. Thanks!

I'm seeding now, and I have ridiculous upload bandwidth, - on the order of several MB/sec. :P

DRU
10-08-2006, 01:55 AM
40 completed and only 5 seeders including myself...??

There are 6 people downloading now and with 20+ seeders they'd be done a hell of a lot faster.

I stopped yesterday afternoon when both said ZERO. I am back on now.
