The trans-siberian orchestra is coming to houston. Tickets are cheap.

The Chiefs are playing on the same day.

I so hate to agree with you mamasboy, but Trans-siberian orchestra rocks. Depends on which game....and how much of it you will miss.

Bummer. I'd probably be willing to miss the Cleveland game for it. Is the show the same time as the game?

The game is at 3. There is a show at 3 and 7:30. I can't go to the night show, though.

Tivo the game and watch it when you get back. If you don't have Tivo watch it on Sopcast, if DaFace is still alive by then.

Are you really going to be able to sit back and enjoy a concert when you know the fate of the universe hangs in the balance?

The only good things I've seen in Houston are the Airports as I leave the city. I'm not overly impressed with anything there, not to mentin Texas.

Hold it, hold it, hold it. Why can't you go at 7:30? What could possibly be happening at 7:30 that is so important that you're considering missing a Chiefs game?

This whole thread is messed up. If I had the choice of making a phone call that would save 5,000 Nepalese from the waters of a burst dam or watching the fourth quarter of a preseason Chiefs game, I'd pick the Chiefs game. The surviving Nepalese can breed again, but you'll never see a live Chiefs game twice.

Who gives a flying **** about the trans siberia orchestra. Come on pal, this is a stupid question.

I actually have to plug the dam at 7:30.

Hey, QT, you never gave us the run down on your KC trip. Who showed up? Did you have a good time?

GoChiefs - you know they are touring with Beethoven's Last Night this time around, right?

Aside from that, WTF wouldn't you choose football first here? That's just goofy

It's the Album, they are not doing Christmas tour this time, but that Album is also very, very good.

Honestly. the trip sucked. Before the kick off even started. I felt like shit the morning we were leaving to the airport, but then again it was 3AM so I thought no biggie. From the time I got there Friday at like noon, still felt like shit.. got way too drunk, woke up the next morning and could barely talk. Long story short, I had strep but didn't knwo it until I got back and got a culture. SO NO I DIDN'T GO OUT SAT. NIGHT. I would have spread my nastiness to everyone and instead decided to sulk in bed until the game Sunday. FUN? Not really.

If I'm choosing the Chiefs over leaving for Hawaii for my honeymoon a day earlier, then you sure as hell can sack up and skip the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Are you serious? Just get the damn live CD, watch one of those blinking houselights videos on youtube, and drink a glass of chardonnay.
