Just saw that Buck O'Neil died Friday. RIP to a great ambassador of baseball.

I shared a flight w/ Mr O'Neil this past March... he was on his way to Royals' spring training. I was amazed at his physical condition: 94 years old and looked no older than mid-60s. I guess time catches up to us all.

He was an icon, a legend, and will be missed.

I can't blame you too much. Because of the way the other thread was titled, "buck" doesn't find it. "Bucko" does. That's forgivable.
