Jets | Martin expected to practice next week

Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl">New York Jets RB Curtis Martin (knee) will attempt a return to practice next week, when he is eligible to come off the physically unable to perform list.

Martin is a class act and a great player. I wish him well and am glad to see him back.

I don't think he has much left in him though. I wouldn't expect this to improve the Jets run game.

I'm glad for you if you are excited, but I doubt he's going to be much of a threat at this stage in his career.

He's not very good anymore, but better than what you have now. Probably Maybe.

Although I'm hoping he can return becuase he seems like a class guy, bone-on-bone (as has been reported) is not a good think to have in the knee of a running back.

That guy is a REAL football player, i always liked him. As Basileus alluded to though i wouldnt expect much for atleast 3-4 games as he gets his legs under him. I hope he's been running those steps at death-defying pace for you guys......Good Luck ;)

I liked Martin, but I could have sworn that he retired in the 1980s.

Im going against the grain...Martin will break it out and have a great year...but the team as a whole will still suck and have a loosing season.
