Who would you use as the #3 this week?

Wilson? Haha.

I'd like to get Webb some time, but Gardner may be the safe bet.

Actually, I would put Parker as the #3 and Gardner as the #2. But that's just me.

We should put LT in as the #3. He said on the radio that he and Colquit sometimes play the receivers on the 9 v 7 practices.

I agree, put Parker in the slot, and try Gardner at the #2. I think Haurd needs a big target WR.

None of the above.....

Actually, they need to open things up more for Gardner...at least he has had a 1000 yard season before. Sammie hasnt even come close...

Samie Parker handing out water cups

He'd probably drop them all.

He'd probably drop them all.

Only the simple exchanges

Every once and a while he'd make a decent exchange (someone almost knocked his arm as he was handing it out) and people would think maybe he still has potential as a starting water boy

I've always liked Rod Gardner's game. Big, physical WR with good hands. The only real knock on Gardner is that he can't pick up the O systems very well. Good to see him get some catches last week.

I'd like to see Gardner move to the #2 WR and Parker #3. Then, I'd like to see Bigfoot get involved they way they told us he would when he was drafted. He's supposed to be the Swiss Army knife of our offense. Yes, it would be great to get some playing time for Jeff Webb, but not at the expense of losing games. Maybe he can play in "garbage time", provided there is some.

BTW -- I'd like to see Tony G get more involved than all three of these guys.

I agree Gunther Fan, maybe they have taught Jordan Black to Block?

after 5 seasons of DV & Saunders you think Herm will put together a better WR trio

I think we all would love that. but it aint gonna happen until the O-line gets better. They really should design some plays that leave Dunn in to block and Tony G goes out to catch passes. One of the guys on the radio said it best the other day: "Leaving Tony G in to block is like a having a Ferrari pull a boat" its a waste.

Kris Wilson! We need to run a 3 tight end offense, smash them into submittance.

Gardner should be our #2 with Webb and Parker switching time out of the slot.

no real tape on Webb
Want to see him make some good returns with Dante doubtful/ out...

Wilson the invisible man will need to make some plays

Gardner should have play book down.

You are consistent Tim! Your red rep is the one I noticed first a while ago, shocking I tell ya!

Hey funny story. Remember the fire I started last Sunday Evening in the outdoor fireplace?
Well I pretty much let it burn out on it's own. Next Morning, Fire Department is at my neighbors house, it was on fire. I was sweating bullits for a couple days until I found out their Fireplace caught on fire from not being cleaned.

Somebody needs to cut and paste a picture of all this red rep, because I haven't been able to see it all day.

And I'm glad you weren't resposible for burning up your neighbor's house. BTW, is that the one with the cottonwood tree? (That would establish motive  )

We should use Gardner's height to pick on Ike Taylor.

I only wish it was, that ****ing tree would have been right in line. No, it is the one directly south of my driveway. I truly thought I had caused the fire for two full days. What a relief!

well since Parker can't catch a 3rd down pass I would be happier with anybody else at #2 at this point

Bob Dole

Since all 3 played in last week's game and we only start 2 WRs, how do you know who is the 3rd anyway?

And why does anyone care?

Now that I'm home, I'm seeing the altered rep boxes.

Sadly, though, the rep box thing has now lost its burst. :p

Well, call me a homer, but I'm still willing to give Parker some time. Parker's speed downfield is an incredible asset. Gardner's physical size and "mental concerns" make him a perfect slot receiver going over the middle.

I actually agree. I'm pretty quiet about it, since he's had some rough spots lately. I'm still keeping the faith that he'll end up being one hell of a receiver for us, though.

Good to hear I'm not the only one!

Gotta figure with a guy like Gardner, big physical WR with good hands (who has problems learning the playbook) should be an excellent slot receiver as the routes are simpler and he's got the physical abilities to make big plays across the middle without getting killed.

I think throwing him out there would force the safeties to "play up" a bit and give Kennison and Parker more room deep. The only threat we have over the middle is Tony (who is yes, a hell of a threat), but when he stays in to block, you gotta think the safeties are dropping back a bit knowing that the only threat in front of our WR is a RB.
