I'll be leaving for the KSU Nebraska game in an hour, so if you lads will be kind and keep this thread updated, so I can peruse it in the AM, I'd be appreciative.

OU is up on ISU 24-7 in the 3rd. Peterson has about 200 rushing and receiving.

No score late in the 1st quarter in Lawrence between KU and Okie Lite.

Mizzou at aTm looks to be the game of the week.

Correction:

As I was typing, Okie Lite fumbled and KU, starting Kerry Meier at QB, took it to the house in 3 plays.

7-0 KU.

1st down at OSU 16.

WilliamTheIrish
10-14-2006, 12:37 PM
Meier rushed twice to go inside the OSU 10.

End of the 1st. Bad 5 minutes for Okie Lite.

KU has taken advantage of the gifts.

If you live in the midwest, you should get it on your local ABC station at 2:30.

Yes. I believe ABC is carrying it regionally.

Unfortunately, for those of us in Hellinois, that means the Butteyes vs. the Spartans. :cuss:

Indiana forces Iowa to punt, still has the lead, and the ball. 6:45 to go.

Indiana forces Iowa to punt, still has the lead, and the ball. 6:45 to go.Indiana looked awful in the first quarter. I turned it off after they fumbled the ball on a play-action fake on their own 10, leading to another Iowa TD. I can't imagine how they caught up.

Georgia's about to get punked by Vanderbilt. Another team we can pass in the standings if we can beat the Aggies.

At the beginning of this game, their was an announcer on the sideline that Coach Hoepner (sp?) gave all of his staff a copy of Bill Snyders book to read before this game.

And news comes across ESPN news that Adrian Peterson is likely done for the year. Oklahoma will now not be able to score at all.

Just heard it on the radio broadcast of the MU game. Broken collarbone. That usually takes about 6 weeks to heal, so the best scenario for him returning would be a late bowl game.

I wonder if he'll still turn pro......he'd probably still be a top 5 pick seeing as that's not a lingering type injury.
