Raiders | Porter suspended for four games

ESPN.com reports Oakland Raiders WR Jerry Porter has been suspended by head coach Art Shell for four games for conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension will likely be appealed by the NFL Player's Union and will cost Porter slightly more than $235,000 in salary.

And yet Moss just spouts his mouth off every week. What did Porter do, pee in his coffee?

Just cant look away from the trainwreck in Oakland.

There is no way Crazy Al would trade Porter to the Chiefs. Not after the Marcus Allen thing blew up in his face.

I think you underestimate Al's stupidity. This is a guy who signed Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks in the span of just a few offseasons.

He's a LOT more expensive, too.

Money could be better spent elsewhere. As long as it is spend, I'm more than happy to pass on this cancer of a never-broke-1000-yards receiver.

Yes, Al is stupid, but even he knows that the Raiders and Chiefs haven't worked a trade since Lamar Hunt negotiated the NFL-AFL merger.
