View Full Version : Chiefs Planet Policy Poll: Rep

|Zach|

There has been some talk questioning the usefulness of the rep system. We have always gone along with the will of the community so here is the poll. Just to be clear this isn't about changing anything about it. It is all or nothing.

Some of them are too thick skulled for just one snide remark to be effective. I've yet to meet one whose skull was too thick for just one bullet to be effective.

To steal a line from Phobia, it tends to 'cause more problems then it is worth. Though after a few hours of sleep something that might not be bad is to take away all weight from it, but allow people to continue to send messages.

Eventually, I'd be the Bill Gates of Rep. I'd use Donald bRainma Trump's rep for toilet paper.

In the mean time.....I think it would be just as effective to knock the point value down to .00000001, and folks could still get teh comments, to know when they're being a doooshbag.

Rep should be made so the maximum is higher. Judging by the number, it looks like the size is limited to 32k, but given the strength of some people's rep, it's so easy to max out. It should take a lot of rep to get all the way up from zero, or to start back up from full neg.

Probably. Bob Dole thinks he may have started shouting in the 3rd person at this year's raffle, but then fell back to normal speech.

Actually, it's pretty typical for someone meeting Bob Dole at a CP event the first time to comment on the lack of 3rd person schtick. For some reason, it seems to freak people out a little.
