When you went trick-or-treating as a kid what was your favorite item or candy to get and what was your least favorite item to get? And yes I plan to sneak a few away from the kids stash tonight. :D


Fav: Pixie Stix or small snickers bar

Least Fave: Suckers

Least: Popcorn balls. A lady in my neighborhood made them every year. I quit going to her house after a couple of years.

Fav:not exactly candy but the house giving popcorn balls would be targeted 3-4 times in an evening

Least: Popcorn balls. A lady in my neighborhood made them every year. I quit going to her house after a couple of years.

In our neighborhood we had someone giving toothbrushes one year needless to say after several retalitory strikes later that night from the neighborhood kids they quickly saw the error of their ways and gave treats the next year.

Fav: Any candy bar...the bigger the better. I was also an overweight kid.

Least Fav: Jolly Ranchers or Tootsie Rolls: I mean seriously, can you go out and spend a tiny bit extra on REAL candy!?!

The worst has to be Circus Peanuts. I have no idea why anyone thinks orange foam rubber injected with vomit flavoring is a candy.

Fav: Snickers

Least Fav: Those hard and chewy candies that are wrapped in orange or black. I was told they are supposed to be peanut butter flavored, but they just taste nasty to me.

Why all the hate for popcorn balls, candy corn, circus peanuts, and tootsie rolls? I liked all of those.

My favorite now is Reeses. I don't remember those being around much when I was a kid. My favorite at that time were Smarties, Bottlecaps and any candy bar without peanuts.

My least favorite were suckers or any of the chewy, sticky candies like Dots or those weird peanut buffer taffy things.

Fav:Full size candy bars (that's what we give out)

Least fav: I'm with Nzoner on those black & orange wrapped things. I have no idea wtf they even are. One lady in our neighborhood was handing out pencils a few years ago, that didn't go over too well with the kiddies.

Good: Most any "name brand" candy (although anything chocolate was best).

Worst: I'll throw another vote behind those orange and black wrapped peanut butter things. Yuck...
