I'm going to go out on a limb here and you can feel more than free and welcome to comment on anything out of the matter. With a W over the Rams the chiefs climb from 0-2 to 5-3. That puts you right on track for 10-6 (in most cases gets you a playoff spot. ignore last season :) ) barring a 0-2 start.

It only gets better from 5-3 with two games coming up against Miami which this team cannot over look anyone and Oakland should set them up at 7-3. I believe 7-3 is very logical for this team. That where these games in November and December come ever so crucial with your currect record playing a big role.
Last 6 games.

Thu 11/23 Denver 8:00 pm
Sun 12/3 at Cleveland 1:00 pm
Sun 12/10 Baltimore 1:00 pm
Sun 12/17 at San Diego 4:05 pm
Sat 12/23 at Oakland 8:00 pm
Sun 12/31 Jacksonville 1:00 pm

All the sudden we look at the last 6 games and we see Clevland and Oakland on the schedule which could bring us up to 9 wins!
What about the other games?
There is still Denver HOME which we usually win
Baltimore HOME
@ San Diego
Jacksonville HOME

So if the chiefs win the game they absolutely should not lose and beat a very good football team on the road in the St. Louis Rams I believe this team will be in the playoffs instead of as most say and dought the chiefs I hear 8-8 at best...I hear "a rebuilding year"

Oh by the way i think St.Louis is like 22-5 at home in their last 27 games.
It won't be a walk in the park

At St. Louis is a crucial, and likely very indicative, game.

While I don't think they're a very good team, they're solid and have the weapons to score on anyone.

If we can limit them to 17-24 points and win on the road, I like our chances the rest of the way. If they drop 30+ on us along with a loss, I'll chalk this season up as a waste of time because, with 4 losses, we aren't going to lose just two games the rest of the way if we don't beat the Rams.

St. Loser is a pretty average team. I still don't see the chiefs winning, because they haven't performed that well on the road to this point.

This weekend is a HUGE game....will tell us if we're a contender or pretender...

I really think we need to rattle off 3 more wins in a row for sure....STL, MIA, OAK....and if we can somehow beat the broncos at home...watch out.....8-3 gives us a heck of a shot at the division (since DEN and SD still play each other twice).

Of course...if we go lay an egg this weekend (like the PITT game)....all bets are off.

It's debateable as to whether the Chiefs have played well on the road.

Denver was up (but they lost)

Arizona was up and down (but they won)

Pittsburgh was down

Who knows what the next installment will bring.

I'm pretty sure this an original thought. If you don't believe it check this thread. (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=150981&highlight=10-6)

Ban yourself if the Chiefs don't make the playoffs.

Define, for the world, win-win.

Actually, St Louis is 5-6 at home the last 2 seasons and 10-9 at home since the beginning of the 2004 season.

If Miami and Cleveland are losable games, we won't and shouldn't sniff the playoffs. In fact, we won't crack .500 if we strugle with those teams.

watch out for them raiders

How AFC teams are playing this year, it seems 10-6 will give you a wildcard spot even if it doesn't win the division. Right now we're 4-3, same after 7 games last year. Remember we fell 4-4 and rebounded to 8-4. Not likely that it'll happen that way again, so the rams game is huge no matter how you look at it.

and if we lose i ave to shave my head so we'd better win.(i really need to stop betting on the chiefs. I had to do 10 pushups for every point the steelers scored. 'Twas painful.)

We were 5-3 last year and fell to 5-4, but it's a bit similar. I'm actually predicting the same thing. The difference this year is our second-half schedule isn't so brutal. We play Cleveland, Miami, Oakland and San Diego on the road. We should go 3-1 in those games.

no...

no it isn't.

We struggle against accurate QB's...and Charlie Frye isn't exactly accurate.

Frye sucks and their offensive line is worse.

and I hate to talk about last year, but that Dallas game...Jesus. We play that game, 10 times, at Dallas, we win 9 out of 10...

I still can't ****ing believe that ****ing game...Surtain drops an easy pick 6, LJ misses a block on one of the worst playcalls of the year first and goal near the end of the first half (14 point swing), the flea flicker, and then the missed field goal...as well as the missed holding call against Hicks 3rd and Goal follwed by the DJ interference 4th and goal...

I can't even stomach that game...argh!
