After Kansas City claimed a 28-20 win at St. Louis (10/26/97), the Rams have produced a remarkable 16-1 (.941) home record against AFC opponents at the Edward Jones Dome. The only home loss by St. Louis against an AFC opponent over that span was a 40-22 loss vs. New England (11/7/04). Over that 17-game stretch dating back to the ’98 season, St. Louis has outscored AFC foes by an average margin of 32.2 to 19.5 on the Rams home turf.

Their run D is the worst in the NFl-and Bulg will serve up another fumble and a couple of INT's.

We will dominate them.

I think our run defense will be fine but our pass defense will be a liability. We better be able to put up at least 24 points if we want to win this one.

One thing that does bother me is that bulger has 12 td's & only 1 pick, thats pretty remarkable considering how many he threw in martz's system...the guy's having a great year chuckin' it. We have GOT to put him on his ass every other play. Even more than the CB's our S's have a huge test, i find it sickeningly worrisome thinking about the CB's releasing their WR's deep to Knight & Wesley :doh!: , we better get quick pressure...............

That's one of those stats that doesn't really say anything, which the Chiefs' site seems to post a lot of for some reason. Which AFC teams have they played? What were their records at the time? A bunch of those 16 wins could be against the Texans and Browns of the league for all we know from that.

Why do people predict a loss for their own team-just to say they are right?? Do they root against them during the game-just so they can say "I told ya"???

I think it is more of a matter of being realistic. Especially as a Chiefs fan.

It is one thing to go blindly into game weekend knowing the team is capable of pulling out a win... hell, even knowing that the Chefs are gonna kick some ass.

But its plain silly to think that you are gonna go into every game and blow out the opposing team.

Still a fan, but just a realistic one.

BTW, I think we win this game... but its gonna be another nail biter.

Comes down to a Tynes FG again.

Predicting a loss-yep your a real fan.:banghead:

Please don't start the "real fan" stuff. As Milkman aptly stated, "Fan does not=Homer."

According to you,

people who subjectively pick the Chiefs to win every game = "real fans".

people who think the Chiefs will lose an upcoming game based upon an objective, logical analysis = sad sack losers who only want to say "I told you so".

I want the Chiefs to win every game. I'll be ecstatic if they win in St. Louis, and will gladly eat crow. If it'll appease you, I'll even forsake my traditional Chiefs victory dessert of Strawberry-rhubarb pie.

And if they lose (as I predict), I will never come back with "I told you so".

What's this team done differently this season that makes you think they'll win? KC hasn't won a road game against a good team in ages. Worse yet, they often look like the Bad News Bears in doing so.

You may be a Chiefs fan, but it's obvious you are not from the Show-Me state.

As prc said, it's just being realistic.

I rarely ever make predictions on the Chiefs games, because you can never know which team will show up.

These guys have been about as Jekyll and Hyde as any team in the league over the last 5-6 years, or longer.

You can usually count on Jekyll to show up on the road, but then you get games like the Cardinal game earlier rhis season.

Hyde usually shows up at home, but then there's those Philly type games.

I fully expect the Chiefs to struggle this weekend, but a Hyde-like performance wouldn't surprise me either.

You just never know.
