Say you win the lottery.

Invest?
Car, house, vacation?
Shares?
Charity?
Family?

Invest it, and keep working as usual. Retire early.

I'd have to invest also. Maybe buy some shares.

I'd buy entry into a few poker tournaments. Definitely WSOP 2007.

Gotta buy a nice $80-150,000 car. Take a nice 3-4 week long vacation to somewhere like Hawaii, Barbados, Antigua, etc.

Buy my parents' place so they're sorted for the future.

All the usual stuff, I guess.

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you a house
(I would buy you a house)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a K-Car
(A nice Reliant automobile)
If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
I'd build a tree fort in our yard
If I had million dollars
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard
If I had million dollars
Maybe we could put like a little tiny fridge in there somewhere
You know, we could just go up there and hang out
Like open the fridge and stuff
There would already be laid out foods for us
Like little pre-wrapped sausages and things

They have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon
Well, can you blame 'em
Uh, yeah

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a fur coat
(But not a real fur coat that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you an exotic pet
(Yep, like a llama or an emu)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you John Merrick's remains
(Ooh, all them crazy elephant bones)
And If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I had a million dollars
Now, we'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner
But we would eat Kraft Dinner
Of course we would, we’d just eat more
And buy really expensive ketchups with it
That’s right, all the fanciest dijon ketchups!
Mmmmmm, Mmmm-Hmmm

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a green dress
(But not a real green dress, that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you some art
(A Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a monkey
(Haven't you always wanted a monkey)

If I had a million dollars
I’d buy your love

If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars
I'd be rich

I would put it in a bank account that gives me at least at 10% return per year and just live off the annual $100,000 from that.

Invest some of it in property..
And I would put the rest to work for me..

Good choices!
First, though, I'd pay off all bills and debts first.
And for makin' it work for me I'd:
• Launch my children's book as my own publisher
• Launch my own creative CD's as my own publisher
• Launch my other domestic/design products for mass production

For some fun:
Go to Italy for a month and rent a villa
Go to Africa on one of those adventure trips

Put kid back in horseback riding.
Redo her bedroom
Renovate entire home

Let me know when you find a bank that will pay 10% interest.

You can only put 4k in your ira a year.

I would invest it in a diversified portfolio taking a conservative 6% withdrawal, that way I can still let it grow. An extra 60k taxed at a maximum of 15% would be nice every year. I would probably quit my job, go back to school and become a high school teacher. "I keep getting older, they stay the same age," seriously; I always wanted to teach and the insulting wage wouldn't be bad with an extra 60k. I would make my wife continue to work in her current job of course.

I'd invest in my current business i.e. hire people to run it so I could go play more often.I'd also start a second business and use my gameroom idea,Hoops,Homers & Huddles and open a killer sports bar.

Get out of debt and then invest/save the rest.
