We won on the road 31-17 and it "feels" like it was a nailbiter.

We held a potent offense to 17 points at home and it feels like our defense was porous.

We have these lulls on both sides of the ball...in reality, we whooped the Rams. Is it my inherent Chiefs fanness that sees things half full (during the game)?

I am most excited and proud that we overcame numerous injuries. That speaks to coaching to me. DV would have made excuses and the team would have too.

Of course, the injuries suck and Waters looks serious. I don't know why God won't leave us alone.

Huard completes 10 passes and has a qB rating of 6,000.

Big big big big big big big big big win.

I know what you mean. But I quickly stepped back and I am totally satisfied (with the exception of the injuries, of course). Everything else is pretty much the usual ups and downs of an NFL game.

Overall, big picture, we rocked. It was very impressive.

You make some good points. It def. did feel like a nail biter. I guess it is because it came so close to being one. Calls and stupidity by St. Louis let us win the game 31-17

Second week in a row: the defense held when it had to.

last week's game was also very weird...it should have been a blowout but it came down to the last possession.
