Point me in the direction when he has been a class act with fans? If I was not lazy I could probably pull up a few examples how he has been a dick to people asking for autographs. It has been posted on this board quite a few times with fans whom run into Tony and they go walking away "What a prick?"

But this post is not about his social attitude with the fans but rather his play on the field which has been nothing less of fantastic!

Can I roll in praise for TG and the controversy of QB together? How has the running game been resurrected. How has the pass protection gotten better?

In the 2003-2004 Chiefs there were a lot of sets with three WR. Usually one of these was TG but the set was that of three WR. This slowly shifted in 2005 with more 2 TE sets so to see help on the RT position. TG stayed in fairly exclusively and the blocking schemes had the TE together as an extension of the line especially to run to the right.

Now this year the problems at Tackles has moved us exclusively to 2 and 3 tight end sets especially if you think of Wilson as the 3rd tight end. The running game becomes the focus with the best two blocking TE in the game acting as the pulling lineman to the outside and the consistent play of the interior 3 lineman to get runs up the middle.

This has only worked because TG can both block well and catch a football excellently. But this is an offense that is different than the one that Green ran. But the good thing is that Green has been on the sidelines getting to understand this offense's character. It doesn't get to be so downfield, it does need the play of good recieving TE and H-backs.

I am concerned about Waters and whether the interior play can continue. But the play at TE at the corners and plays like NE ran using those TE in running plays interior could make this a non problem.
