Are you better off seeing a Super Bowl win as a kid? A teenager? An adult? Assume that you get to see only one in your life, but that you don't know that when you get to watch it.

I don't know, I've never been one. :(

32

Not too young to appreciate it, yet not so old that you will have suffered too long.

I would say a young adult.

That way you know what it is like to not win and you would appreciate it more.

If you see one as a kid, you always think next year with next year never arriving.

I'd say around 35-45. That way there's a CHANCE that I'll have the cash lying around to afford to go. I doubt it, but I can dream.

Chiefs won the Super Bowl when I was 11, so I'll go with 11.

Well Royals won the WS vs the Tardinals at age 12. And Jayhawks won National Championship at age 15.

Those were great, however, I was unable to participate in any celebratory actions... so, it wasnt optimal...

I would say, 21 on...

I sooooooo, wanted to go to the ROyals Celebration Ticker Tape parade, but my parents didnt think it was good for me to be out of school for such frivolousness.

The Cards just won the first championship I've experienced as a fan, and I'm 24. Sadly, I'm in the middle of Tiger country. I guess I could have celebrated in their traditional burning of everything within a 100 mile radius that made Detroit so famous  :Bartee:

I'd say 14. You are free to be a complete jackass to all your school-age friends and lord over them for the entire offseason. It would create great memories.

Then hopefully you can grow up and appreciate another championship down the line. Sort of like having a great girlfriend when you are a kid and a great wife when you are older.

I was 10 years old when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl...I still remember how wonderful it felt but I was too young to really appreciate it. I'd say that you have to be at least college age to fully appreciate it. I was 24 when the Royals won the World Series & that was a damn good age to celebrate.

I was not quite 7 when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, and I remember nothing about it. I may not have even seen the game.

I went with 30-39 years old. At that age, you've suffered through almost three decades of drought and deserve an oasis. At some point past that age, it ceases to become jubilation and becomes more of either relief or "about time" harumphing.

It depends on what your favorite team is.

Speaking from experience I can say 9 is too young if you're a Chiefs fan. It'll set you up for a lifetime of aggravated fall Sunday afternoons the rest of your life.

I say 37. That's how old I'll be on Superbowl XLI.

GO CHIEFS!
