But the great almighty Chicago Bears dont make a mistake with defense players.

I'm going to give Herm a point.

I love the fact that Herm likes to stockpile young DB's. After so many years & tears of sickening futility back there he has us back on track. A nice mix of speedy youth & veteran savvy we now have (Yoda).

We sent him to Chicago to steal their playbook and other keys to excellence. Now we will be unstoppable.

Strangely, I find this news exciting.

I liked him for some reason. Even though I don't even vaguely remember him at Miami and have no idea what he's ever accomplished.

I think you are being sarcastic here. But I actually have a good feeling about Maxey's future and I was sorry we lost him to the Bears in the first place.

I'm just excited because when they do his "Hangin' with the Chiefs' Cribs" They can call it the Maxey Pad.

I was being serious, sorta. I trust Herm with the CBs, Law and Surtain are not getting any younger.

Good young talent is always welcome.
Any ideas why he was let go by Da Bears

Bears had to make a move for Welborn...I think it was either let him go or send Printers to the practice squad...oops wrong team. Dunno :banghead:

I was disappointed when we lost Maxey the first time. Glad we got him back.

Good to have him back, agree with StcChief, any young talent is welcome.

I'm guessing Chicago needed a roster move with Berrian's injury, and a 6th CB was an expensive luxery.

He's horrible. I was relieved when they ditched him. I have an equal chance of catching an interception for the Chiefs. I don't just think he's horrible because he has hands of stone, he's just not very skilled all the way.

If he's so horrible, why is he back. Has a clue on D scheme?
Lot's of players are NOT NFL stars to begin their career.

He was drafted, I'll trust the coaches on this one.

If he's so good, why was he waived - by 2 teams in half a season? He's terrible.
