My friend told me this factoid earlier today and I don't know if he's just shitting me and putting on a good poker face or what. Tell me if the following is true:

In environments where there are both red and grey squirrels, if given the chance, red squirrels will try to bite off the testicles of grey squirrels in order to minimize reproduction and competition.

What do you think?

I don't know, but as a kid I got to watch the grey's push out the red squirrels out of Gladstone.

It's bs.

It only came about because after mating season in the fall gray squirrels' testicles shrink so much that it looks as if they've been removed.
