Huard did an excellent job as a backup. AN EXCELLENT BACKUP. Damon Huard deserves all the respect in the world.....BUT.....

........I am ecstatic to see Trent Green on the field and Damon Huard on the bench where he belongs.....

..........Because Trent Green will have a glorious comeback and lead our team to the playoffs.

I'm not discrediting Huard by any mean, but a lot of our success in those three games was due to the gelling of the o line and LJ.

Even the Huardest of Huard-Homers like myself can see that Huard's passes were scattershot today. Green would have been more accurate.

Assuming Green was in mid-season form.

Long-term, Green is unquestionably the better QB. But his first game back, who knows what we're gonna get?

Huard would've got a majority of those throws off if it didn't take him 3 minutes to wind up and throw the ball. He has one of the slowest deliveries.

And pressure or not, Huard looked like a backup today.

When he had time, he wasn't accurate. The team can't afford him to not be accurate, especially on the road.

Hopefully Green will be back next week.

He was under big pressure from minute one. It did rattle him a bit so he couldn't even trust his surroundings when he had a bit more time.

It's all a conspiracy. It was set up like this at the behest of Lamar Hunt. Huard comes in and pulls a livingston, and Green comes back to be the conquering hero ala Len Dawson. Superbow is signed, sealed, and to be delivered.

He already should be. You can make a strong argument he's the best QB in Chiefs history. All he is missing is the ring for it to be pretty much beyond doubt.

Today we had our only chance to make some ground in the AFC and we didnt do it. We can still make some ground against division rivals but I dont think we will beat SD at their place and DEN is a better team than they were at the beginning of the season.

But I got a better idea, a logical one. How about getting our injured players back, so that way we can fix our O-line?

how about getting DJ back? because Keyaron fox wasn't so good.

*These problems have left me concerned. Now I hope Tony G isn't OUT for next week. Frigg man, we lose guys left and right. I guess football is such a cruel game huh? especially at this time of the year?
