Two extremely interesting movies are on the independent movie option channels on DTV right now:

Brazil by Terry Gilliam 549
-and-
The Forbidden Zone by Richard Elfman 547

Me, the fan of odd movies, if you dig them tonight is a good night to own Direct TV.

Brazil is pretty brilliant. Arguably Gilliam's best movie.

Although i really love Time Bandits and Baron Munchauson.

If you can find a copy of 1984 on DVD for under 11ty billion dollars let me know.

It came on IFC like a year ago and I missed it, as well as Johnny Got His Gun...

Yes believe it or not I never really got into Monty Python(where I believe Giliam got his start. As you may know though by being on here my movie interests are a bit odd. I've never seen Brazil all the way through until now. This Richard Elfman dude is quite the strange one. If either of you are David Lynch fans he is releasing a new film in December this year titled,"Inland Empire" I can't wait...

I recently started a collection of cheesy 80's horror movies. I seeded my collection with My Bloody Valentine, Terror Train, Chopping Mall and Funhouse.

Major memory bringer backers!

Try the obvious first if you haven't. Amazon is an (in all of my experiences) awesome site for purchasing. It has earned all of it's popularity and praise. Didn't visit it until like two years ago and have bought a ton off it. But I'm sure you've tried it already regarding 1984.
