Kelly's Harpo's if you are in westport. If you are in the metcalf area fuel is cool. Bring a flask though it's hard to get a drink in westport during the weekends. The Point is a cool bar too. It's too bad the casino's are so far away from downtown but I tell you what they are NOT the place to be. I go to ameristar with my parents sometimes it is depressing. A bunch of people in wheel chairs and 100 year olds gambling their money away. I sat by a dude in a wheel chair who couldn't use his harms that was playing dollar slots and was down like 40 bucks from what I saw. Hope you guys have fun. YOu can take a taxi from one end of town to the other and it is about 30 bucks so if you have for guys. it shouldn't be that bad to split a taxi. I recommend that instead of getting lit up for DWI. Since you guys are here for the weekend hopefully you can trick some ho's into making out with you guys .

This is the front door of one of the most famous bars in the United States. Located in the historic Westport district of Kansas City, Kelly's has stood the test of time. The building goes back to the Boone family (yes, that Boone family). It has been a saloon since at least 1933.

So, come in and look around, meet the boys, meet the girls, you may even meet yourself. And be sure to check the Events page...don't want to miss anything, do you.

Harrahs is a little better for night life, but if you go on Fridays and Saturdays it is usually pretty busy with drunk people aged 25-40. I wouldn't say it's the happenin' place to be in all of Kansas City, but you can still have a good time. I usually go there Friday or Saturday night from 6-10 and bring my own rum. Put it in the pepsi, and play cards and pre-drink before I go down to Westport. If you really want to get laid, go to Americas Pub. I call it the dirty, alot of dirty hoz. You won't find a classy one there usually, but hey, if it's approaching bar close and u still got nothin you might want to try it out.

Go to "The Outhouse" it's not in KC it's in Lawrence but well worth the drive in my opinion. The cover charge is $20 and you bring in your own booze. Had a great time last year when I went and am planning on going back there next Friday.

two completely different areas, with completely different atmospheres that are within like a mile and a half of one another. both are fun places to go, just depends on your style. there are a ****ing ton of fun bars/clubs to go to out here, also alot of shitty ones though.

tonight I went to Kona(Plaza) for dinner, then Darkhorse(Westport) for drinks, but I had a lady with me already.

Basically, broads at the Plaza will like you if you're rich, and broads in westport will **** you then stab you.
