No way Shanny throws Cutler in against the Chiefs in a nationally televised (sorta) prime-time game at Arrowhead.

You know what, that would be a total Shanahan move. I could buy him doing that, pulling a last minute switch on everybody. I don't think even he's crazy enough to do it this week though. Not just because of Arrowhead, but the short week too.

I don't think the Rat is that stoopid.

Course, he did bring in Plummer.

Is that the game Vonnie Holliday sacked him three times?

he is sneaky and crazy enough to do it. Even if he doesn't start him, if they have a crap first half I could see him starting cutler in the 2nd half, which ideally the kid would just be tossed in there without anytime to get too worked up about it...

What would be more fun from KC's perspective: definitively ending Plummer's days as Denver's starter by harassing him into a crappy performance and a few of his trademark turnovers, or the Arrowhead experience making the first NFL start of their great white hype a total nightmare?

especially if its' true and he was planning on making the switch nect week regardless of the Chiefs outcome. Might as well get it over with now...

Cutler only plays this year if the Donks season tanks.

Hell, Rat put Bradlee Van Pelt in last year, and ran him on a QB sneak for a TD.

I would not be suprised if Rat has some sort of plan for the rook.....

As to whether or not The Rat would do it, there's always the possibility that he may not have a choice. Who knows how Plummer reacted to the talk that Cutler would start their game against Seattle? Maybe he went on another road rage rampage in the Bronco parking lot.

If Shanny thinks he's already lost Plummer, may as well throw the kid in.

You know that by posting this thread, you've just caused Gunther to pull an all-nighter?

Smelling salts are going to make their debut on NFL Network tomorrow.

I bet the Chiefs tried to prepare for him too, just in case.

Tomorrow will be interesting, we need this win bad too! I picked up Cutler after i lost Mcnabb cuz there were no fantasy qb's at all left, and i had a feeling his time was coming real soon anyway! Right now I got Hasselbeck and Garcia starting with Cutler and Leinart backing up! Thank god for LT on my team

I don't think it matters who is under center once they experience that ravenous Arrowhead crowd.

That would be dumb to change at the last minute imo.
