191 points allowed, 17.3 per game... pretty good for our boys.

Don't post this crap unless you are smart enough to format so it is readable.

This is far more readable than alot of threads on CP. Check out the baseball FA's thread and tell me if you can read that.

Don't reply unless you are smart enough to be able to read it, which I'm guessing everyone but you is.

Soo we're in 11th in the NFL on Defense and 90% of the NFL haven't even played their 11th game yet. Sweet

Intelligence is meaningless, even dangerous, absent civility.

Take some neg rep and go **** yourself.

In Game 11, the teams that allow more than 244 will move down the defensive rankings relative to KC. Teams that allow less than 244 yards will move up.

Like I said in another thread, the 2 quarters of bad D in Pittsburgh were a complete anomaly. Take away those 38 points and we are downright good on points allowed. Maybe 14.5 ppg - near the efficiency of the 1969-70 World Champion Chiefs that allowed 177 for the entire season (14 games).

I think you said it best when you used the word "consistency".

I don't think Pitt was an anomaly so much as it was inconsistency. The defense started to improve last year, but had several lapses late in the season.

A lapse or two this season was to be expected - they can't go from worst to first overnight.
