"John Tyler defensive coordinator Greg Robinson defended his defensive philosophy after the game."

That's amazing. I'll bet you couldn't even do that with no defenders on the other side.

I'm also guessing they'll make another movie about Texas High School football because of it.

Wasn't there some similar comeback around that same time in Texas where the team down had to allow the other team to score just to get the ball back?

i remember that game i was 13 when it happened. I thought they should kick it out of bounds i wonder how far a highschooler could throw it.

Not only was that unbelievable amazing, it was some of the sloppiest tackling I have ever seen.........

I take it this was for a Tx state championship....... sad to see 2 teams of that caliber show casing their tackling skills.

The announcers were like a couple of drunk bums ......

Those guys were frickin annoying. "He's going all way!" and the dude is like tackled on the 30. Sounded like a bunch of drunk good 'ol boys...

...I found myself glad that the other team won. THat was almost funny.

The one feller promised to jump from the booth if they scored again... and they did.

Where in the world has living up to promises gone?

IOW, they were grabbing all the glory of the comeback unto themselves, like pigs rolling in cool mud, then it is all empathy for the "kids."

Sick bastiges.

the question should be:

What would it sound like if John Boy and Billy from the "The Big Show" did play-by-play and color for high school football?

Seemed like on the 2nd onside kick the kicking team may have been offsides. Either way, why did the dumbass from the other team touch the ball before it went 10 yards? :shake:

Loved the "I wanna throw up" comment at the end. ROFL

The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

Name an emotion that could not have possibly been felt during the entire course of that game for every individual within that stadium.

One could argue boredom but at 41-17 I bet somebody was bored too.

I had even told the wife that this team came back from 17-41 with 3 min to go and were going to win the game. I missed that one. They should have onside kicked again.
