The guy was a nutball and a Donx lover, but he was good for the occassional laugh, and didn't come across as the egomaniac that 3/4s of the other ESPN personnel do.

He's goin back to Denver to write for the paper.

That really sucks! He was my favorite because of his humor...even if he liked the Donkeys.

Most of the people that didn't like him took him too seriously. His professor screw loose character always cracked me up.

What's that I hear? Is it a chorus of angels?

He's alright. I really cant stand any of them, but if I had to listen to any of them it would be him.

Denver post must be paying him big bucks. He must have made alot working on ESPN. Kind of like how KC Star pays JoPo and Fatlock tons of money to still write for them.

He's still going to do ATH but just not cold pizza anymore.

I wonder who is going to replace him on Cold Pizza.

He was a douche bag, he regularly got beat up on Around The Horn, he was THE punching Bag before going to Cold Pizza. Only after he became an ESPN employee, did he start actually winning ATH, even though he still stunk it up. Obviously his act got tired there too, frankly, Cold Pizza should be blown up altogether and they should put Kiana and the other hot chicks on, excersizing in the morning - Cold Pizza blows

Maybe they'll hit another home run and rehire Kit Hoover, certainly can't get much worse than it is now - wait a minute, if they rehired that dipshit, it would be worse, so...I'm at a loss, maybe they should hire Tiki after the season, he's a good talk show host...?

I won't lose any sleep over him being replaced on the show.

C'mon, he's not dead or anything. You mean he IS an asswipe... :p

Personally, I kinda thought he was pretty funny on ATH.

Or still have our marbles and never fell for his screw ball professor routine, he's an asswipe

You know who else was a douche bag? That sheik guy in the WWF. HE always got beat. He must not have been a very good wrestler.

Iron Sheik? Yeah, I agree - he was a douche bag.

I watched Around the Horn as part of ESPN's "Rehashing of today's stories in 20 different formats" afternoon lineup yesterday, and one of them said Eli Manning has the lowest QB rating of any quarterback with more than 1000 attempts since whatever year he was drafted.

Not that it has anything to do with Woody Paige... I was just shocked to hear such a good stat on that show.

I used to not like Paige at all but he has grown on me over the years.

I wonder if ESPN will no longer have Cold Pizza on its menu.

Cold Pizza isn't that bad of a show...

Some of the interviews are pointless, but it's better than watching that 4th replay of SportsCenter.

I usually catch an hour or so after Mike and Mike before I go to class. The show overall is ok. I like Jay and Woody alright, but Skip and Dana suck. I read some article or blog where Woody Paige admitted that his whole Cold Pizza/ATH thing is just a big act to entertain.

Paige = Whitlock - fatness

Both have predicted 19-0 seasons for their respective sports towns and both were the most tolerable of all the ESPN blowhards, IMO

Woody is a ridiculous Denver homer who wouldn't give credit to KC (or the Chargers, for that matter) to save his own life, but he's a pretty funny guy. He's usually entertaining on any non-Bronco issue.
