Green considering all the talent he has to work with in Arizona.

IM not a big fan of Mike (Overrated) McCarthy either.

I think Denny Green is a fine coach. You can't overlook what he did in Minnesota IMO...

It HAS to be Art Shell. He's by far the worst coach in the NFL and it isn't even close.

He is the worst coach in the league for what he did to Otis Taylor

Art Shell is not why the Faders are losing. He's actually incorporated some toughness and some defense. Its (*gasp!*) Greasy Al Davis...
KCJ
Dodging the lightning strike that's sure to come for defending a Fader

PS, Jon "Chucky" Gruden's not lookin' real good right now...

I'd say that the worst two are Shell and Green, and one that I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned is Romeo Crennel.

Not a big fan of

Nick Saban ( always thought he was a tool/asscap at LSU )

Cant stand "The Rat" ( he is a winner and I am tired of the Chiefs being his whipping boys )

Marty ( great regular season coach/total dipshit in the playoffs )

Herm ( I really didnt like him in NYJ "Marty Clone", but hey we are stuck with him )

My Favs,

Vermiel ( even before KC ) Dungy, Bill Bellichek ( Spelling? ) The Tuna ( but he is P*ssing out lately ) Gruden are a few that I can think of.

bingo

no question, with the $$$, coaches, and players he has....huge cluster ****....

Shell gets a pass because the Raider organization is ****ed from head to toe....

Green is a close second...he hasn't delivered and he has plenty of talent...big disappointment...

It's Joe Gibbs. He's so completely inept it's just sad. The game hasn't just passed him buy, it's lapped his ass 4 or five times.

I dont think he's the worst, but there IS something about Coughlin that says "jackass", his players are always in the media bashing him. It was the same in Jax as i recall.

There just doesnt seem to be any bend, compromise or warmth to the guy.

Lombardi was hard as nails, but you atleast hear stories of him having a heart with the players.

Parcells isnt as hard on guys as he used to be, but this Coughlin just seems to refuse player input.

Nick Saban/Dennis Green...

Everyone laughed when Buffalo hired Dick Jauron, but he seems to be doing okay...

I'd probably go with Denny Green. I think his squad is underachieving, and has blown a bunch of games. Additionally, he fired Keith Rowen, and starting calling plays himself, and since he has done that, the offense has been a lot worse.

I certainly wouldn't want Art Shell as head coach, but it's too hard to evaluate the Raider mess. How much of it is him, who knows.

The worst coach in the NFL right now is Coughlin, hands down.

He has explosive offensive weapons and a very good defense but he's lost his team with all his BS rules (5 minutes before the actual meeting time, etc.), play calling and for calling out players. They're calling him out as well, so unless they have a miraculous comeback, he's gone at the end of the year.

Dennis Green would be a close second, especially given the amazing amount of offensive firepower (Leinart, Edge, Fitzgerald, Bryant) and a decent defense. But there's no "team" concept. They're a bunch of clowns. With a new head coach, that team could improve by 8 wins next year, easily.

I think Crennel and Shell are doing outstanding jobs, given the lack of talent that both are dealing with. The Browns were extremely talent depleted from the Chris Palmer/Butch Davis era and we're all familiar with the "normal" malcontents that exist in Oakland. It's sad to say but with a good draft and solid free agency, that team could make the AFCW that much tighter next year.

I don't think any coach, Hall of Fame or not, can win in D.C. with Daniel Snyder looking over everyone's shoulder. And quite frankly, I could give a rat's ass about them. They won their share of SB's under Gibbs during the 80's. They're not due for another decade (or by Chiefs standards, three more decades).

Scott LinehanI was thinking that too....

With the weapons he has (Holt,Bruce,Jackson,Bugler) he can't win for losing..... D sucks bad though

NFCW???? they could lose to AZ at home this week.

But Shell can't bring cohesion to his O to score with a decent D.

Toss up.
