YAY! I'll bet you all missed me. My computer is sitting on the floor until I get my new desk put together. I installed this wireless adapter all by myself! Hey, that's an accomplishment, even though it was pretty easy.
I got moved in (all the big stuff anyway) before the rain hit Wednesday night. Moved the rest of the little stuff in the rain, but it was no biggy. Got a lot of unpacking done since work was closed Thursday night. I had to work today to make up for missing Thursday. Due to weather, and work, I didn't get my wireless adapter until today.
I LOVE MY NEW PLACE!!!!
Okay, time to go get caught up.

Survivng 3 days without internet was easier than I thought it would be. I'm so used to having it to check the weather, look stuff up that I'm wondering about, and (of course) chit-chatting with you lovely people.

I've always found that when you miss a couple of days, it's surprising how quickly you can catch up.

It's 2:45AM on the lovely east coast..I am gathering my second wind..but..I hear my bed calling me..late night's just are not the same without you..

Me and one guy loaded the truck. My brother showed up in time to kind of help unload the trauck, then tried to borrow money (nothing new). We got all the big stuff in, and most of the boxes, but I had quite a bit to go back and get (about three carloads). I did that part in the pouring rain while the temp was dropping. I had a cold while doing that. It was a good thing work was cancelled on Thursday, because I felt like shit. I'm still sneezing a bunch, but I'm on the downhill slide.
I have about 5 boxes left to unpack, and some odds and ends to put up. As soon as that's done, I'll start hanging stuff on the walls. Did I mention I love my new place? the only bad thing is the incline to get into my parking lot. That's been fun with this weather. I've managed to avoid coming into contact with parked cars, so I'm good. I'll also like it when I get my desk put together. Typing on the floor in kinda awkward.
