Why in the heck can't our cornerbacks play in front of the receivers and use the back of the end zone as another defender?

That is exactly what happened when Trent through the int.

It would be nice if our guys would do that.......


Damn, last year they couldn't turn around and find the ball and this year they play behind the WR and TE in the red zone..... :banghead:

yes and its not a bad thing because a cover 2 near the endzone will force a lot of picks because there is nowhere to throw the ball IF THE DEFENSE DOES IT RIGHT

We don't come anywhere close to running a proper cover 2...our cover 2 might be the worst ran cover 2 in the history of the cover 2. Cover 2 cover 2 cover 2.

Our secondary sucked a lot, but we didn't have any pressure on the QB (except after he released the ball). Its the line and the secondary.

I don't care if if it's cover 2 or uncovered 3 or 4... if we can't get a pass rush our secodary is going to get exposed. The play of our DT SUCKED AZZ. Two great DE's are not going to get consistant and effective pass rush with Sims playing.

Cover 2 ... Who the F*** cares what we play? We can't get pressure on the QB consistantly.
