Woman Kills Husband over Warm Beer

In St. Louis, I think this may be justifiable homicide. Who would give someone a warm can of Stag Beer? Secondly, it's been 16 degrees in St. Louis. How did that beer get warm in the first place?

A St. Louis man was shot to death Sunday night over a warm beer, police said.

St. Louis police say a woman shot her husband, who was about 70 years old, four to five times in the chest after he tried giving her a warm can of Stag beer.

Police said the wife admitted shooting him about 5:40 p.m. in the kitchen of their home in the 5100 block of Terry Avenue. Police said the home had no electricity at the time.

Homicide detectives would not identify the man. The woman, whom police also did not identify, was taken into custody.

(St. Louis' low temp Sunday was 16 degrees.)

I use to get together on Saturday nights and play poker with some buddies... During a break, one of us would go get some beer... This one guy would say,"Pick me up a 12 pack, but make sure it's warm"!!

Thinking he wanted it in the fridge for a Sunday Chiefs game, I would head for the fridge... He would yell for me to bring it back and set it down beside him... About that time --- crack --- open comes a can of beer of his...

He was in the Army stationed in Germany, and they would always drink their beer warm over there... Nasty !!!!!!!!!!! :shake:

Due to the major storms they had, a lot of peeps were w/out electricity in STL on Sunday.

I honestly think there's more to this story than they are telling us. Oh wait, she was handed a can of warm beer? Well, is that really a crime?

One of my students' parents had a dispute of some sort and now he's orphaned. He's gone to live with family in another town, and I won't get to see him again.

I just don't understand human nature sometimes. I think it's one of the reasons why I'm single and not in any hurry to get married. I just am not trusting enough to put my life so close to another volitale human. You never know what another person is capable of. The whole iceberg thing- you know, how you only know about 10% of someone...

Anyway, those of you who believe in positive thinking, keep those kids in your thoughts- I just hope they can make it through this.
