It would be nice if Terry returned to form. He was good before his career blew up.

I'm going to have to find out why Terry hasn't been getting more playtime. From what I've heard, he's as good or better than anyone else on the line. Anyone have any clues? Is it because they didn't want to mess with the "chemistry" of the line?

that's exactly what I said when I saw this...

Terry looked damn good in the limited amount of PT he has received...

Possibly at tackle? Actually, I doubt it, but I'm still curious about the reasoning for him not getting more PT. I guess the line's been doing a pretty good job lately, so they didn't want to mess with the chemistry. Or hell, maybe he's not looking as good in practice as I'd heard.

I think that would be a part of the reason, along with the fact that he isn't yet likely fully familiar with the playbook.

It sure would, I agree.

Terry couldn't be any worse than Turley, who spent all of last week getting pwned at the point of attack by an aging linebacker.

Terry was really good with Carolina and Seattle. If he can come around we will be really solid at RT for a while.

So why exactly hasn't Welbourn been playing at RT?

So why exactly hasn't Welbourn been playing at RT?
Why did Herm not call a timeout when they were first and goal from the 3?!

We'll never know...

Who cares? Turley hasn't given us much, anyway and he won't be here next year. Might as well see what else we have before we go shopping in the offseason.

I say we play 6 OTs and let Samie sit. We don't use him anyway...

Heh. Makes you wonder about the severity of the injury.

Herm:What's up with you today Kyle?
Turley: Ow, I think I tweaked my shoulder last night. I bumped into the bathroom door getting up to take a leak...
Herm: Really?!? Wow, you better sit out. Terry, jump in there!
Turley: It's not that bad, really just a little bruise.
Herm: Well better safe than sorry.
Turley: Seriously, it doesn't even hurt!
Herm: Sit down Kyle.

I wonder if it will be Terry or Welbourn...Welbourn should have been starting at this position since he came back...I wonder what his problem is.

Any way I look at this Turley injury, it can only be a good thing. The guy wanted to be a tight end, and no way he's good enough to be on the field instead of Tony, Jason, or Kris. He's worse at tackle than he would be at tight end, so let someone else take over.

I don't see Turley in Chiefs Red in 2007...

The experiment failed.

i think Turley will be on the team next year unless he quits himself.

i just think he will be a utility guy

backup left tackle, right tackle and blocking TE

depends on how much he's willing to help coach the young guys to though

Terry was a solid starting OT before his meltdown, whatever it was....

He's been practicing long enough now to at least know the plays, and hopefully has had enough reps to get his footwork going and knock some of the rust off......I'd like to see him get significant time, so they'll know if they've got a RT for next year or not.

What; no "mom" reference???
